We thoroughly enjoyed dining at No Tacho.  The personnel were very friendly, attentive and best of all informative.  They not only wanted you to enjoy your meal they also explained the ingredients and derivation of each dish.  The first two courses were delicious , the wine was an ideal pairing and dessert, a great way to finish the meal.  And not to forget the after dinner liqueur which was No Tacho&rsquo;s way of saying thank you for dining with us.  A wonderful evening and one you should not miss!

In the upper side of the city, the locations was beautiful! We had a buffet lunch that was very delicious, with a good choice of plates. The view over the city was incredible! Very nice place!!

An absolutely lovely location on a terrace high above Coimbra. We were treated to a wonderful sunset, after a very hot day.The welcome from the maitre d&rsquo; was friendly and engaging.The food and wines were totally delicious, and extremely well priced for the quality and presentation.Comments have been made by other guests that all the food arrived very quickly, and the only fault we experienced was a repeat of this - we would have scored the restaurant 10 but having made it clear we were not in a hurry the main course arrived before we had finished our starters. So easy to fix&hellip;..please do because everything else was excellent.Tip - if you&rsquo;re staying at the bottom of the hill in the city, this restaurant can be reached using two elevators that are just past the municipal market!

The whole experience was great: we wanted a nice meal that was an easy walk from our hotel and we found it at the Sol. The staff was polite and helpful and served everything at a relaxing pace. The only reason that the food score isn&rsquo;t higher is that we ordered an assortment of three fried cod appetizers and they were not hot when we received them. We&rsquo;re not sure if they are served cool intentionally or not but they were actually still good. Our entrees were great pork dishes but probably too similar to each other - but that was certainly our fault in ordering. Still, they were both delicious. The place is huge, so sit anywhere you want, inside or outside, upstairs or downstairs.

Their butter mutton curry was too sweet for me. I will try the spicy one next time. Service was fast but they didn&rsquo;t speak fluent English. In short they had a reasonable price (cheaper than other Pakistani restaurants) and I enjoyed my meal. A restaurant worth trying. I ordered mango yogurt, Samosa triangle, curry lamb (I can&#39;t remember the exact name). It tasted good, it was a little sweeter.

The food was absolutely delicious. Everything we had was prepared by a true chef. The chef was very skilled in flavor profiles. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed my meal here. The ceviche was excellent, as was the bacalhou. Waitstaff was perfect in recommendations and attentiveness. I opted to sit on the street because it was cooler there with a breeze, but I think the ambiance in the restaurant was better.

Great food and excellent service. The chocolate dessert with port was something else!
